Natalie Loi is an international technologist, researcher, and policy advocate specialising in artificial intelligence, smart cities, and digital education. Named Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2022) by the Australian High Commission and featured in the Encyclopedia of Successful People Malaysia & Singapore, Natalie is a rising voice in the Malaysian tech sphere.
Natalie founded Mossy A.I., an award-winning system that combines AI with nature to monitor pollution levels, and as Head of Technology at UnBound, built a platform delivering free digital learning to students worldwide. Her innovations have been featured in over 20 international publications, including ABC News Australia, Yahoo Finance, Bernama, and
New Straits Times. A published researcher and editor, Natalie serves as Managing Editor of IGI Global’s upcoming Fintech-Enabled Microfinance Solutions for Poverty
Alleviation (2025) and Gender and Safety in the Metaverse with Meta. She has spoken on global stages such as the Australia APAC Womens Programme, Augmented World Expo USA and ASEAN AI Summit. In Malaysia, Natalie contributes to the National AI Office through the AI Ethics, Transparency & Accountability Working Group, and through her
work aims to champion ethical AI, digital inclusion, women in technology, and youth empowerment.
